Hello, I'm David and I'm the writer and cook at Currytastic.com.
Currytastic is my site that came about becasue of my love of curries. It's where I publish all of my favourite recipes and suggestions.
My love for curries (and spicy food) began when I started working as a chef at a nearby eatery in the mid-1980s.
The restaurant specialised in Indonesian cuisine, and was one of the very first of its kind in the UK that wasn't in London.
Back then, a few of the ingredients needed to be flown in from Indonesia, that made the dishes such as Rendang Daging, Kari Ayam and Nasi Goreng much more unique and tasty.
