Purchasing Your Tickets 🎫
Opening: 🎀 We've made purchasing your tickets easier than explaining the Black-Scholes model to a five-year-old. Ticket sales commence on this page, Monday, 2nd September at 5pm. Request a reimbursement from your company if needed as a standard expense claim. For invoice requests or assistance, contact us at [email protected].
Issues: ⛔ If you are having any issues with the online system SIAS would advise you purchase any required tickets and email [email protected] with any queries you may have. Our email inbox is not monitored daily and this will avoid you not getting tickets to the event.
Dietary Requirements: 🍕 Please enter any dietary requirements into the order form when purchasing for these to be taken into account.
Non-members: 📝 If you are purchasing tickets for an individual who is not yet a member of the IFoA or SIAS, then please purchase tickets as normal and leave the ARN field blank (or enter zeros if it requires an input). You will need to follow up with confirmation of the ARN and SIAS membership once they have it, even if this is after the ball.

Group Bookings
Large: If you are placing a large group booking (four full tables or more ie. for 40 people) and will pay via a bank transfer (not debit nor credit card) then please email [email protected] and we will arrange for the tickets to be purchased separately for a seamless reservation experience for all the admin (eg seating etc).
Medium: Please remember to purchase your tickets in the group you would like to sit with. As tables are of size 10 we may have to split up groups of size 7, 8 and 9 in order to make accommodate everyone in the venue. Please keep this in mind when purchasing tickets. Please type in any seating requests into the order form when prompted.

Reserving / Refunding Tickets
Reservations: 🧱 Like the mythical "risk-free yet high-yielding" gilt in a matching-adjustment portfolio, our tickets are in high demand and can't be reserved without purchase. The best way to secure your tickets is to buy them.
Refunds: 🔙 Unfortunately SIAS cannot offer refunds on tickets sold. Should you no longer be able to make the event after purchasing a ticket we can assist by putting you in touch with anyone on the waiting list.

Venue Facilities & Details
Cloakroom: 🧥 There is a cloakroom at the event which will be able to hold coats, jackets, and any other luggage you may have.
Extras: 💳 Keep your liquidity for the bar – the event will be card only, including payment for your portfolio of drinks and raffle tickets.

7:30 is the call for dinner, running to around 9:30...
(then potentially a raffle)
6:30 - 11:00 we have dodgems
the bar closes at 12
and the music finishes 12:30 when the night ends...
