The 2024 edition boasts significantly improved special effects, a compelling storyline and a cast of unforgettable characters. I found it thoroughly entertaining from start to finish! I would rate it at least a solid nine out of ten. It seems some viewers are overly critical simply because it's a remake, but this version far surpasses the 1979 mini-series—there's no comparison. I encourage everyone to check out Salem's Lot Flixtor; it's genuinely worth watching. People should be more open-minded and give it a fair shot. Understandably, some may prefer the original, but this is 2024, and the advancements in special effects and storytelling are remarkable. Additionally, the performances in this version are far more convincing!
