Alfonso R. Raynaud Jr., president of the Manila Jockey Club, was reappointed after a company meeting, according to a filing with the Philippine Stock Exchange on Wednesday.
According to the Jockey Club's website, the company operates a casino called Pagcor Club San Lazaro (pictured) under the license of the Philippine Play Game Company. It is based on the club's racetrack at San Lazaro Leisure Park in Manila's Cavite district.
Manila Jockey Club said in its most recent 2012 full-year results that its subsidiary, NVTL, supplied a total of 230 gaming consoles to casinos and also provided a network system linking them to Pagcor's accounting system. In return, NVTL was able to receive 35% of casino revenue.
On Tuesday, the jockeys announced a 5% dividend on all operations for the 12 months to April 8, which will be payable to holders of common stock on August 7.
The Manila Jockey Club was incorporated in 1937. It renewed its franchise, which operates racetracks, horse racing and race betting, for 25 years in 1997.
