Hwang Sun-hong's men's football team will face Kyrgyzstan in the round of 16 at 8:30 p.m. on Sunday at the Jinhua Sports Center Stadium in Zhejiang Province, China.
South Korea will attempt to become the first team to win three consecutive Asian Games men's soccer titles, following Incheon 2014 and Jakarta-Palembang 2018.
If they beat Kyrgyzstan, they will play the winner of the China-Qatar match on Oct. 1 in the quarterfinals.
South Korea, which advanced to the Round of 16 after winning all three of its matches in Group E, will deploy a 4-2-3-1 formation.
