Description
Despite its seemingly positive title, Kinds of Kindness Flixtor movies is anything but a feelgood movie, making Poor Things seem like a cheerful alternative. In reality, the film should have been named Kinds of Unkindness right from the start, as all three stories are firmly situated within Lanthimos' sadistic universe. This uncompromising and thought-provoking film raises challenging existential questions without even attempting to provide any resolutions. It bears a stronger resemblance to Lanthimos' earlier works such as Dogtooth and The Lobster, rather than his later, more mainstream endeavors. This correlation is not surprising, given that it is co-written by Efthimis Filippou, who also collaborated with Lanthimos on those two films.
